Wye Mountain Daffodils

J was able to take off early one Friday and we went out to the Wye Mountain daffodil fields...it was a GORGEOUS day and the flowers were so pretty! Here's a few of my favorite pictures from our visit:

Avery,

7 months old...We can't believe it...you are getting to be such a big girl! Here's a few facts about you at this stage in your life:

• Weight: 19.9lbs Height: 30 inches
• Wearing mostly 9 month, some 12 month clothes, size 3 shoes
• Loving your "big girl food"--You are eating solid food 3 times a day and loving it
• Still taking 4 bottles of EleCare a day
• Sleeping 10-11 hours a night (99% of the time anyway!)
• You have 2 bottom teeth and are a chewing machine--anything you can get your hands on goes straight in your mouth
• Sitting up is going much better for you these days....you are steady and love to play with your toys while sitting on your blanket
• Rolling is your preferred method of getting around...you can get anywhere you want to go by rolling and are quite speedy! :) Mommy and Daddy have to keep a close eye on you.
• Gretta is still your favorite "thing" in the house...she just cracks you up!
• Making lots of new sounds: "da da da da"; "gee gee gee"; "ga ga ga"; etc...you LOVE to "talk" and do it ALL THE TIME! :)

You are such a sweet, funny, loving baby...you have figured out when something makes someone laugh and will do the action repeatedly to get a laugh. You smile all the time and love to laugh....your laugh is contagious! You do lots of talking while in bed...we will put you down for a nap or at night and you will "talk" yourself to sleep. We love listening to your sweet little voice on the monitor as you "talk" and "sing" in the mornings when you wake up.

Baby girl, you are such a huge blessing to us!

Sweet Laugh

Avery's "giggle box" got turned over one night after her bath....the only thing I had close was my phone so I took this video with it, which is why the quality is so bad...but the laugh is priceless!

Snow Bunny

Avery got to enjoy her first "big snow" in February 2010...She was outside for about a minute and a half...next year, though, she'll be ready to build a snowman with Daddy!
